The bid security shall be payable unconditionally to the Jones County Board of Supervisors. Jones County is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The County encourages small and minority businesses, women’s business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms to submit proposals.

If awarded, the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose qualifications indicate that the award will be in the best interest of the Jones County Board of Supervisors. The Jones County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities.

The attention of Bidders is directed to the State and Federal laws governing the selection and employment of labor. If you would like to visit the site, contact the Engineer to coordinate the visit. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the date of opening thereof.
