ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

REROOFING OF THE LAUREL AIRPORT TERMINAL BUILDING & MUNICIPAL HANGAR
LAUREL, MISSISSIPPI

The Laurel Airport Authority will receive sealed proposals at 112 Base Drive, Laurel, Mississippi, until 2:00 p.m. on March 2, 2021 for Reroofing of the Laurel Airport Terminal Building and Municipal Hangar, also known as Engineer’s Project No. LAA-101-20. Bids will be opened in the Meeting Room on the 1st floor of the Laurel Airport Terminal
Building and read aloud.

All proposals shall be directed to the attention of Matthew Owens, Director, with the outside of the envelope marked “Bid Proposal for Reroofing of the Laurel Airport Terminal Building and Municipal Hangar”. Contractor shall indicate certificate of responsibility number on the outside of the envelope.

The plans, specifications, and contract documents can be viewed and obtained online at www.clarkengineersprojects.com. By use of the website, the plan holders shall have the option of obtaining physical copies of the plans and specifications, and shall have the opportunity to submit an official bid online.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on February 11, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Laurel Airport Terminal Building in Laurel, Mississippi.

Basis of Award: The award, if made, will be to the lowest qualified bidder on the Base Bid Amount. The Owner intends to accept the lowest and best bid and reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.

A Certified check or Bid Bond for FIVE PERCENT (5%) of the total bid payable to
The Laurel Airport Authority must accompany each proposal.

Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letter qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid, and such proposal will not be considered in making the award.
